As we look back on the incredible journey of 2023, one thing is abundantly clear: it was a year like no other for Fly High Fitness Center (FHF) It was a year of soaring to new heights, breaking boundaries, and achieving extraordinary milestones in the world of kids’ fitness. In this exhilarating recap, we invite you to relive the excitement and marvel at the remarkable achievements that made 2023 a truly exceptional year for us at FHF.

1. New Facilities and Courses

Throughout 2023, FHF expanded its offerings with two exciting additions: swimming classes and ball court games. The new swimming program was meticulously designed to cater to children of all ages and skill levels. Divided into four stages, these classes provided tailored instructions and support. From gaining confidence in the water to refining techniques and preparing for aqua sport competitions, we ensured that every child’s swimming journey is a successful one.

But that’s not all – We also introduced indoor and outdoor ball courts, making it the perfect destination for kids interested in football, basketball, volleyball, netball, and indoor football. With the largest ball court in Dubai, we managed to fill a void in the community by offering a space for private training and after-school activities.

2. Fresh Faces in Coaching

In 2023, FHF welcomed new coaching talent to enhance the children’s fitness experiences. These experienced coaches included. Alana Ashley, who led CrossFit Juniors, , and Roche Smith, responsible for coaching Trampoline and Tumbling, which has now become an independent course sport, offering kids a unique and exhilarating experience. Additionally, Ahmed Mohammed Abdelkader Ayad, our new swimming coach, who also collaborated with CrossFit to improve kids’ swimming abilities, endurance, core strength, speed, agility, and withstanding longer workouts.

3. In-House Events and Competitions

FHF believes in celebrating the achievements and talents of its young members. In 2023, the center hosts a plethora of in-house events and competitions were set to showcase the kids’ skills and boost their motivation. With around 8-10 events per semester, children had ample opportunities to shine, get inspired, and feel like an integral part of the FHF community.

Notable events included “All That Jazz,” a dazzling dance and musical theatre extravaganza, and the first-ever Swimming In-house Gala, celebrating a year of growth, learning, and community spirit in the swimming pool. The Martial Arts tournament introduced children to Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Karate, and Muay Thai, emphasizing discipline, focus, and physical fitness. Additionally, FHF launched its first trampoline competition, highlighting Rhythmic, Artistic, and Trampoline gymnastics.

These events not only boosted the confidence of our young athletes but also encouraged them to explore new fields of sports and foster a sense of community.

4. New Classes Added

In response to growing demand and a commitment to offering diverse fitness experiences, FHF introduced new classes in 2023. Kickboxing replaced Muay Thai, focusing on fitness and agility, with strict safety measures in place. Tumbling and trampoline became a standalone sport, emphasizing freedom, flight, and spatial awareness. Furthermore, FHF expanded its baby classes to cater to the youngest members, recognizing the importance of early engagement in fostering a healthy and active lifestyle. These baby classes encouraged bonding between parents and their little ones while promoting physical development from the earliest age.

5. New Gymnastics Badge Program

One of the most notable achievements of 2023 was the introduction of the Gymnastics Badge Program at FHF. This program recognized children’s accomplishments in gymnastics through a structured and motivating system. As children successfully completed various gymnastic skills, they earned certificates in the form of badges. The program featured seven badges, each symbolizing specific skills and achievements. Upon completing all seven badges, children received a prestigious Certificate of Accomplishment, signifying their dedication and progress in the realm of gymnastics.

As we reflect on the achievements of 2023, we anticipate an even more exciting year ahead in 2024. Fly High Fitness Center remains dedicated to providing exceptional fitness experiences for children, with new challenges and opportunities on the horizon.
